DAY 1 – BRISBANE - SUNSHINE COAST APPROX. 139km (87 miles)
Leave Brisbane and drive northwards to the Sunshine Coast. This beautiful stretch of coast is the perfect mix of coast and country and an ideal place to relax and unwind. Here you can enjoy a pristine coastline and lush hinterland, mouth watering cuisine, activities and adventure or just choose a perfect patch of sand where you can simply sit and contemplate life.

DAY 2 – SUNSHINE COAST – FRASER ISLAND APPROX. 188km (117 miles)
Head for Hervey Bay, where you leave the car before catching the catamaran to Fraser Island. This outdoor wonderland offers walking tracks, fresh water lakes, long surf beaches, sand dunes, coloured cliffs, rainforest and around 230 species of birds and 25 species of mammals.

DAY 3 – FRASER ISLAND
Today you can enjoy a day at leisure to explore Fraser Island. If you choose, you can enjoy an optional half-day tour of Fraser Island by 4WD “bus” specially designed to traverse the sand dunes (OPTIONAL TOUR).
DAY 4 – FRASER ISLAND – RAGLAN APPROX. 400km (248 miles)
Retrace your route to Hervey Bay by catamaran, pick up your rental vehicle and head north towards Rockhampton. Enjoy a real Aussie experience Stay at a farmstay.

DAY 5 – RAGLAN TO EUNGELLA APPROX. 480km (300 miles)
Leave Raglan and drive northwards to Eungella National Park, set within the spectacular Clarke Range. This range reaches a height of 1280 at the summit of Mt Damrymple. In the Aboriginal language Eungella is pronounced 'Doon-gell-a, which translates means 'Land where cloud lies over mountains'.

DAY 6 – EUNGELLA - AIRLIE BEACH APPROX 160kms (100 miles)
Depart Eungella and continue heading north to Airlie Beach, the centre of the Whitsunday Coast and the departure point for the Whitsunday Islands.

DAY 7 – AIRLIE BEACH / THE WHITSUNDAYS

Continue north to Townsville a progressive and thriving city, set between rugged coastal hills and the Coral Sea.

On leaving Townsville, you continue north to Mission Beach, where the town’s small community more than trebles its population in season.

From Mission Beach, you head north towards the Atherton Tablelands, where you will find World Heritage Rainforests, Waterfalls, National Parks, Crater Lakes and Volcanic formations, with a backdrop of rolling green hills. It is breathtaking.

The next stop is Port Douglas, gateway to the Great Barrier Reef & Daintree Rainforest. Port Douglas is an ideal base for those who wish to Scuba dive, snorkel or fish on the Great Barrier Reef, explore the Daintree Rainforest and River, or sail away over the Coral Sea.
