This 21 day tour gets you off the beaten track into the real Australia, far away from the usual tourist trail, whilst incorporating Australia's much acclaimed cities and iconic sights. You can choose to stay in carefully selected small B&Bs and guest houses, that we recommend for some sections of the tour, if you wish. When you arrive in a new place, you will be greeted with a genuine warm welcome, and you may even find yourself being asked to join the locals for a barbie. This tour is very different and represents our own passion for travel in this fabulous country, by immersing yourself into the country and getting under its surface.
If you have longer then why not extend your stay by a week in Western Australia, seeing Perth and the beautiful beaches and wine region of Margaret River in the South West. What a peachy trip.

Day 1 Arrive Sydney
Stay for 2 nights in a 3 star hotel in downtown Sydney
Day 3 Pick up your hire car and head for the wonderful Blue Mountains
Stay for 1 nights in a boutique resort
Day 4 Continue your self drive holiday to Melbourne staying in some great B&B's and real hidden gems. Visit Jervis Bay, Batemans Bay, several National parks, terrific beaches and small arty villages.
Day 8 Arrive Melbourne
Stay 2 nights in this uber friendly city
Day 10 Pick up another hire car and head for one of the world's greatest drives, The Great Ocean Road. For 6 days your trip hugs this beautiful coastline to South Australia and Adelaide. En route you can spent 2 nights on Kangaroo Island, a must see place for any visitor to Australia.
Day 15 Arrive Adelaide
Stay 2 nights in this quaint and great little city
Day 17 Fly from Adelaide to Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Here you can spend 2 nights at the Ayers Rock Resort, enjoying a spacious apartment and admiring the stunning views of the icon, Uluru.
Day 19 Fly from Uluru (Ayers Rock) to Cairns.
Just north of Cairns is Port Douglas where you will stay in a great apartment complex on the beach, complete with a huge pool. There is so much to do in this area, with easy access to The Great Barrier Reef, Atherton Tablelands and the rainforests.
Day 22 This incredible holiday experience ends and you head home.

If you have more time, then why not fly to Perth and take a driving tour around the gorgeous beaches and wine region of Margaret River.
