DAY 1 – SYDNEY TO JERVIS BAY
APPROX. 200kms (124 miles)
After collecting your rental vehicle, depart Sydney heading south to Huskisson. This historic town lies on the shores of well-known Jervis Bay, which provides a great base for exploring the Jervis Bay Territory and great areas of the beautiful Shaolhaven.
ACCOMMODATION: JERVIS BAY – 1 NIGHT

DAY 2 - JERVIS BAY TO TILBA TILBA
APPROX. 204km (127 miles)
Continue your journey south to Central Tilba, classified under the National Trust as a heritage village.
ACCOMMODATION: TILBA TILBA -1 NIGHT

DAY 3 – TILBA TILBA TO GIPSY POINT
APPROX. 193km (120 miles)
Head south, through National Parks and charming fishing villages, to cross the border into Victoria. Continue to Gipsy Point, tucked into the upper reaches of Mallacoota inlet, where there’s accommodation, brilliant fishing, bushwalks, and bird watching.
ACCOMMODATION: GIPSY POINT – 1 NIGHT

DAY 4 – GIPSY POINT TO METUNG
APPROX. 218km (136 miles)
After breakfast drive south, passing through Lakes Entrance to Metung, the gateway to the wonderful area of Gippsland Lake.
ACCOMMODATION: METUNG – 1 NIGHT

DAY 5 – METUNG TO MELBOURNE
APPROX. 315km (196 miles)
Depart Metung and head for Melbourne. This city of culture is full of open air cafes, crowded markets, lively nightlife and sparkling festivals all creating a mix of old world charm and modern living that is uniquely Australian.
