Day 1

Alice Springs – Uluru

Start your journey by travelling south from Alice Springs, visiting a camel farm along the way to Atila, a stunning, flat-topped and horseshoe shaped mountain, before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort. Here you’ll be watching the sun set with a glass of complimentary wine, before heading to the resort’s exclusive venue to sit under the stars and enjoy a succulent meal of steak, lamb sausages, salads and desserts.

Overnight: Desert Gardens Hotel (Standard) or Sails in the Desert Hotel (Superior), Ayers Rock Resort, 2 nights.

Day 2

Kata Tjuta National Park

Wake early to catch the sun rising over Uluru, an enormous sandstone monument that is sacred to indigenous Australians.  You’ll then travel to the mystical 36 domes of Kata Tjuta and explore Walpa Gorge and the unusual rock formations here. Travel back to Uluru this afternoon and drive around the base of enormous rock, viewing Aboriginal rock paintings along the way and learning about the native flora and fauna in the area. Later on you will visit the Uluru sunset viewing area where you can witness the striking colour changes of Uluru. This evening enjoy a sumptuous BBQ of Australian meats and salads accompanied by a glass of wine,

Day 3

Uluru – Kings Canyon

Spend your morning at leisure, searching for Aboriginal art and more breath-taking scenes, before driving through sand hill country to Kings Canyon. Located in Watarrka National Park, this huge outback canyon will be your playground for the next day.

Overnight: Kings Canyon Resort (Standard) or Kings Canyon Resort (Superior).

Day 4

Kings Canyon – Alice Springs

Start your morning by climbing up to the rim of Kings Canyon, or take an easier route along the canyon creek bed for a little over an hour. Afterwards, travel back to Alice Springs for the end of your tour.
