Starting in Brisbane and ending in Sydney, you’ll venture through the small towns of Armidale, Scone and Werombi, visiting fascinating museums, embarking on scenic walking trails and discovering the surrounding natural beauty along the way, all the while enjoying overnight stays at brilliant working hobby and alpaca farms.

Details
Day 1
Brisbane - Kooralbyn
Once you’ve collected your vehicle you’ll depart Brisbane and head south east to Kooralbyn, a tiny characterful town nestled in the Teviot Mountain Range. From here you’ll meet up with your hosts and enjoy your first authentic stay on a working farm – spend the afternoon picnicking by the lake, spotting wildlife, and even feeding the farm animals.

Day 2
Armidale
In the morning you’ll begin journeying along the New England Highway to Armidale, a charming town approximately an hour’s drive from four National Parks. The naturally beautiful landscapes that surround the town are full of scenic walking trails, all with the possibility of discovering cascading waterfalls and rare wildlife. Explore the University of New England’s museums and art collections, or visit one of the vineyards on the New England wine trail. The evening will be spent at a working alpaca farm.
Breakfast included – either a breakfast basket or a full cooked breakfast.
Day 3
Scone
Today you’ll venture south to Scone, a picturesque country town famous for its number of horses. The day will be spent wandering through the town’s natural beauty and learning about its rich history.

Day 4
Werombi
Continue south to the little town of Werombi, which is located south west of Sydney. The afternoon will be spent at a hobby farm, feeding the animals and birds, touring the farm, collecting fruit, or seeing the nearby dam, before settling at the farm for the night.
Two meals included.
Day 5
Sydney
The morning will be spent on the farm, before taking a short drive to Sydney where you will drop off your rented vehicle and the self-drive tour will end.
