Day 1
Uluru
In the afternoon, meet with your driver guide and fellow travellers, and then drive to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. You’ll have the opportunity to learn all about the land, as well as the history, religion and law of the Aboriginal people from the Anangu (traditional owners of the land). Afterwards, travel to the spectacular domes of Kata Tjuta for an informative guided walk through the Walpa Gorge, following the natural creek bed between two of the largest domes. Watch the sunset over Uluru with a glass of sparkling wine and nibbles. Then get to know your fellow travellers a little better over a delicious meal at your hotel.

Day 2
Curtin Springs - Kings Canyon
Begin the day watching the sunrise over Uluru from the sunrise viewing area – be sure to keep your camera ready, the views from this area are incredible. Take a scenic walk around the base of Uluru to really see this amazing monolith for yourself, along with rock art and the Mutitjulu Waterhole.
Later on, sit down for a BBQ lunch and meet the locals at Curtin Springs Station, hearing their tales and the logistics of running a million-acre cattle property. Take part in a paper-making workshop at Curtain Springs Paper before travelling a short distance for a unique dining experience in the evening, where you’ll dine beneath a star-studded sky in the wilderness.

Day 3
Kings Canyon - Mereenie Loop – Alice Springs
Start today with a 6km rim walk of the striking Kings Canyon where you’ll have the chance to observe the varying colours of the landscape. You’ll be accompanied by a guide who will highlight the various points of interest along the way including the domed ‘Lost City’, Cotterill’s Lookout and the ‘Garden of Eden’. There’s also an optional creek-bed walk for anyone looking for a more relaxed pace. Afterwards you venture off the beaten track travelling along the Mereenie Loop Road past Gosses Bluff, through the West MacDonnell Ranges onto Alice Springs for dinner at your hotel.

Day 4
West MacDonnell Ranges
This morning you will visit the historic Overland Telegraph Station and learn about the overland telegraph line and why Alice Springs is in this location. You will then travel out to the West MacDonnell Ranges for a walk to the striking Angkerle (Standley Chasm) which has been created over millions of years and the Simpsons Gap for a short walk. Tonight, enjoy an open-air BBQ dinner with campfires while you dine under the Milky Way.

Day 5
Alice Springs
Begin today by visiting the Royal Flying Doctor Service - learn how this facility provides medical assistance to those living in remote outback Australia before your final visit to the School of the Air to see how children living in the far reaches of the Outback receive an education over the air waves. Learn from your driver guide more about life in an isolated Australia town. Your tour comes to an end by late morning.
